My name is Jim Gladgo, and I’m thrilled to share a bit more about my journey with you. With nearly four decades of marriage to my wonderful wife Helen, we made the leap from central California to the stunning shores of Cabo San Lucas.

Prior to our move, my professional background spanned several industries, including electrical contracting, a state certified electrical inspector, and residential property development. However, it was the turn of the century that brought about a pivotal moment in my career.

Partnering with my friend Ted, we seized the opportunity to acquire two Century 21 franchises in Los Cabos. Within weeks, we became franchise owners and quickly expanded, establishing offices in Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, and the corridor connecting the two cities. Our efforts garnered recognition not only locally but also nationally, propelling us to the forefront of Mexico’s real estate scene.

However, the euphoria was short-lived as the world faced the economic turmoil of 2008-2009. Forced to make tough decisions, we had to close some offices and temporarily suspend operations at our San Jose del Cabo location. Despite the challenges, Ted and I persevered, welcoming a new partner, Ari, into our fold.

While Ted eventually returned to the construction business, real estate remained my passion. With Ari by my side, we navigated the turbulent waters, with me remaining as the designated broker and operations managers we began rebuilding our presence in the market. Through dedication and hard work, we not only weathered the storm but also emerged as leaders, earning the distinction of being the #1 franchise in sales in Mexico for multiple years and securing the title of Top Century 21 Mexico Company of the Year two years in a row.

But behind every success story lies the supporting cast, for me, a team of dedicated individuals. I am immensely grateful for the hardworking professionals who have been part of this journey. Together, we celebrated milestones, weathered challenges, and forged lasting friendships. It is their unwavering support that has made all of this possible.

After almost three decades of service to the Century 21 system, I have now embarked on a new chapter, pouring my experience and passion into Cabo Realty Pros. I am excited to continue serving our community and helping clients find their perfect piece of paradise in Cabo San Lucas.
